Why the horns rise from a football, and what the IH stands for.
The new crest keeps the club's oldest symbol, the horns, and sets them on the shirt for the first time.
In Igbo tradition the horn stands for strength and resolve. On the crest, two horns rise from a football: the strength comes from the game.
The green is the iroko, the hardwood the club is named for. The orange is palm oil. Together they say where we are from.
The new crest appears on this season's home shirt and every club channel from today.
